On Saturday, 13 June 2026, our Lodge will once again take part in the exciting Dragon Boat Race, bringing together brethren, family members and friends for a day of teamwork, fun and community spirit.
Following the fantastic experience we had last year, we are delighted to invite members of our Masonic community to join the Freemasons & Friends crew for the 2026 race.
Dragon boat racing is a unique team sport where a crew paddles together in rhythm to propel a beautifully decorated dragon boat across the water. It is energetic, inclusive and a great opportunity to strengthen friendships both within and beyond the Lodge.
This year we hope to make the team even more special by inviting sons, daughters and friends to join the crew alongside our brethren, creating a truly intergenerational team representing our community.
No previous experience is required — training sessions will be organised ahead of the event and all equipment will be provided.
Whether you would like to paddle, support the team, or simply come along to enjoy the day, everyone is warmly welcome.
